Exhaust lobe degreeing?
I have been following Lunati's cam degree procedure. It covers degreeing the intake lobe but what about the exhaust lobe. Should it be degreed also? I working with a HFT cam.

Should not be needed if the cam card is correct for the cam used.
Never hurts to check though. JMHO |

EO event is not as-critical to performance.
IC, IO, EC, EO is the order of criticality |

According to what cam expert? Harold Brookshire ranked them in this order: 1ST(& 2ND!)---Exhaust opening(which occurs first) and Intake opening. 3rd---Intake closing. 4th---Exhaust closing. ----- tfxengine.com who has some of the most advanced analysis equipment agrees with Harold. |
