trans problen
my trans turbo 350 is jumping out of third when hot one is in my 68 fb the other is in my 76 chevy truck unknown miles on each. does anyone have any ideas ( cliff ruggles mabey) I am at a loss to figure this out!

The direct clutch is applied, fwd clutch applied, one or the other possibly loosing some apply oil past a seal when it gets hot?
Physically "jumping out of gear" is not possible, unless the leaf spring isn't staying on the "rooster comb" or the nut came off the end of the manual shaft.....Cliff

This has to be year of the broken tranny. Someone have a Chineese calendar that can verify?!

"Jumping out of 3rd" is always an indication of clogged filter, low fluid level or both. Make the changes ad report back.
