55mm cam and simms timing chain set up
i did some quick measuring and have reached out to Scott Simms, but in the meantime. has anyone installed a simms set up on a 55mm roller cam WITH roller 55mm bearings?
My cam measures 54.7x mm and the relief in the cam end plate is 55mm so i believe it will work as designed, and ride on the roller bearing so long as it is assembled appropriately. The roller cam bearing race is out side of the cam plate, but i dont think that will be an issue. Thanks in advance

spoke with Scott Simms, he says it will work with 55mm cam just make sure it gets pressurized oil flow, other members have added a .050'' hole to feed this area.

I cut a small groove from the block oil hole to the front on the block under the cam bearing to get oil flow to the plate.
