He is looking good and enjoying life. Looks like he is in his early 60's. Would love to spend some time with him talking Pontiacs and early top fuel.

I was lucky enough to meet him at the Southern Nationals back in the late eighties. We sat on the steps to his trailer and talked about the old days. He’s a very down to earth friendly guy and Ercie is awesome as well. Don Gay jr. was running FC at that race as well. Back when NHRA was still OK. You could walk up to the cars and meet the racers.

I never got to meet Eddie. But I watched his twin-Pontiac tear up asphalt from the starting line of Indy's brand new strip during the '61 Nationals!

Happy Birthday Eddie Hill!!
Happy Belated Birthday to the young man!
Haven’t met Eddie yet but always rooted for him watching the races. Always down to Earth and obviously young at heart. God Bless Eddie and Ercie! Btw, I remember Eddie being tall but man! He looks like a giant in some of his pictures!

Hi, all! Eddie FourFather Hill here, at the invitation of Steve Barr.
First a short commercial from my primary sponsor-- I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior in 1949 when I was thirteen, won my first race shortly after that, (on a Cushman motorscooter that I had hopped up)- won the Tri-State motorscooter Flat Track Championship and got a little trophy that was just barely big enough to write all that on it, and He has blessed me with good health and motorsports trophies and/or Championships in every decade since. That is 1940's,50's,60's,70's,80's,90's,2000's, 2010's, and now 2020's. That is nine decades, so far, of racing awards/blessings-- Thank You, Lord!! Ercie and I are still healthy, happy, working at my www.eddiehillsfuncycles.com dealership, Enjoying life in our dream home, 500 acre ranch just west of Wichita Falls. Ercie is painting now (art, not houses :-) ) and we are racing our THREE open wheel road racers at Hallett Motor Raceway at Hallett, Oklahoma. We won the open wheel (fastest class) final at the last race of 2021. I was first into the first turn at the first race of 2022, and led the race more than halfway through until I got a low fuel pressure alarm on the dash, and came in to save the engine. Anyway, thanks for all the kind words and comments. Ercie and I hope all of y'all are healthy and happy! God Bless! Eddie and Ercie AKA FourFather and BabyCakes Sorry about that last picture sideways- I don't know how to fix it- Hey, I'm an 86 year old analog person trying to make in a digital world-- |

Eddie, thanks for posting. I have to ask, between the Ford GT and the Corvette, which is more fun to drive?

Having owned both generations of Ford GT and now into my third week of my new C8 Corvette, I love all three cars! Ercie and I are getting ready now to go to work at my www.eddiehillsfuncycles.com dealership- (yes, still "working" at age 86), and your question deserves a more complete answer than I have time for right now. Maybe when things slow down a bit between my business, ranch, and getting three open wheelers ready for the season, I can collect my thoughts on the three street cars and pass them on to you. Cheers, Eddie |

Some pictures of my twin-engined Pontiac dragster from 1961, which is now about SIXTY-ONE YEARS AGO!! Does not seem possible that that much time has passed already!
Cheers, Eddie FourFather |
