It's funny how this snowballs. Mark I wanted to build an 11 second street car. You need nothing fancy for that, 3 trannys and a rear later and now adding a bunch of suspension parts. Where does it stop?? LOL

Jeff, sorry to hear about your health. Get that fixed asap and you'll be fine. I can relate to getting bummed over cancer. If prostate it's curable. (Mines treatable) .

I assume you currently run a manual boost controller. For now leave it as your limit control. You can add a 90° shut-off valve (barrel valve) and manually pull in your boost fast as you can keep hooked. It's faster than turning a knob and will keep from overshooting boost limit.

Think soft compound dirt track DOT tires for street strip. American Racer (used to be McCreary). Low cost and sticky.

Those used to be the ticket around here for street legal street racers.

Thanks Bruce. Yes cancer sucks, all of it every kind. As we get a little older and loose friends and family to it, you really begin to hate it with a burning passion.

As for the car, I have slicks on it now and by spring I will have a decent set of rear shocks. Hopefully the single digit pass will be there, I am sure it will.
Car is a real street car, full interior, customer console with cupholders, phone charger, bluetooth, nice radio. I have to be happy the way it is,, any faster and it becomes a real danger I guess. It has no roll bar, just 3 point belts.
It's a sleeper hub caps and all!
It has a manual boost controller, but if all goes well this year I will add an electronic one. I have a date for a track day, but have to see how things are before I really commit.
