To many of these cars are turning into piles of scrap metal. Are you wanting to buy it? I hope someone will save it....... Looks too good to let rust away.

There's no dents that I saw. Q-panels are nice. It's about 3 miles from me. I would love to have a '73 G/A again. The guy was a little strange because we had an empty car trailer and it didn't look to cool to stop. I took the pic while we were moving.

I always liked that car. The nose was ahead of its time for 73.

I too like those cars... I occasionally stop in at a loca guys place to see if he's ready to "get rid" of his (?)74 GA...
I believe the trunk should reveal whats under the hood ~ "7.4 Litre" = 455 & "6.6 Litre" = 400 Some of those came with a manual transmission... now that would be hitting paydirt!! BTW, I love the faded original stripes!

I love them G/As! Looks like it needs to be saved. One day you will drive by again and it will be gone.

Those wheels are the ones they used on the General Lee. Believe it or not, there is a market for them. I bought a 77 Bandit T/A for $500 a few years back and it had the same wheels on it. I sold them on eBay for $470, so I had a $30 S/E T/A!!!!

The 73 GA is my favorite year for that car too, a set of honeycomb wheels would look great on it. Go get it !!!

These cars are the last of the cheap performance oriented cars out there. 1972 and earlier is priced to the stratosphere and everyone seems to know what they have. These cars have a hard time being given away, so chances are you will get lucky. Looks like it will need a new nose though, just $800 from InDesign. If it is as complete on the rest as it looks on the shown side, you will be money ahead as those wheel moldings are expensive and hard to obtain.

ben m's correct in the above post. the problem is no one wants to give anything for these cars. my 74 will end up being cut up, i've bought enough of the older stuff that i know i won't get to it. no one's willing to give 600.00 for it as a roller that needs floor pans so it'll eventually get scrapped.
if that car stirkes your interest you should buy it and at the least put it back on the road. they're great cars, there's just a very limited market for them. mike

You guys would get sick if you saw what I had towed away 8 years ago. When I moved back home to mom's (short time), I was down in a farmtown my girlfiend was from. I came across a White/Tan '73 Grand Am that was an original owner with 57k. It was perfect and got it for 200.00!!! Only problem was that it smoked real bad. Towed it home and found out it had holes in the top of 2 pistons. Well, my mother didn't want the car sitting there and forced me to pay 20.00 to get it towed away. Looks like the one in the pic but with tan interior & Ralley II's. Man was I an idiot back then......

1986...I'm fresh out of high school and find a '73 G/A for sale locally...400 4-speed...good amount of body rot but it came with a pair of NOS GM 1/4 panels. Asking price was $600, and I was broke.
