4 piston's
If you are switching to the floating calipers and single pistons, I would be interested in the 4 piston set up.

I made the switch from my 68 F-body. I imagine it's the same for yours.
The spindles are the same. The caliper brackets, dust shields are different as well as the end brake line & clip. I was able to re-use the rotors as well (4 piston rotors work on single, but not vice versa). |

Seals
Did you have them bored and sleeved with stainless sleeves?
That is the only way to go then use Silicone Brake Fluid in the car.

My 4 piston ones leaked on our 68 bonni wagon, but put on rebuilt ones and no more leaks yet. I was told that inactivity was the problem with them but our wagon moves everyday so I think we are safe.

69-72 A and 71-74 X body cars are a direct swap.
I could'nt find any used caliper mounting brackets around here, so i bought the brkts from cpucarparts.com Just remove the original mntg brkts and dust shield(i dont use-it holds heat). Install the 68-72 brkt along with same year's caliper, hoses, and rotors.
