Date code question
I have a vague recollection regarding an exception that was applied to the date code rules for the parts on our cars. Seems like I recall that the letter “I(eye)” was not used in order to prevent confusion with the number “1(one)” Following that logic a part dated 5M1.would have been made in 1965/December/first week. Is that correct?
