Default Joining the 9 Sec Club!

I have not posted much lately- work, family, etc getting in the way of my hobby We did make it out to Milwaukee for a late season TnT and managed to break into the 9's on my second pass of the day. Air was good at approx 400 ft DA with a 5mph head wind. Unfortunately did not get many runs in as the track was getting beat to hell by the street cars and two oil downs.

Just for kicks I wanted to see if more gearing would improve 60ft time so bolted on my 26" hoosiers (normally run a 28) . Made that run keeping an eye on the tach, and was just tickling the rev limiter at 7200 rpm at the stripe. Normally run 6500 at the stripe with 28" tires. Did not pick up any 60ft ET with the shorter tires- even though they seemed to hook perfectly.

Here is the 9 sec run with 28" tires and the timeslip with the 26" tire.
