Default 66 Two Tone

Bought a 1966 GTO hardtop in June. While looking at it I saw plug wires with Packard 1 Q 66, so I thought well maybe original. Pulled the trigger since the intake was B16 6 and cowl tag said 03A. Had black paint on top and confirmed as tag said L A for paint. Got it home, lock cast B266, heads B176, trans 66 NA 132N, rear end cast B266, code WF. Every piece original. Couple of weeks later called some number s off Interwebs search on pre ious owner on title. Fellow answers, yes it was my Grandads car, he bought it new. That is my mom on the title. Grandad was an oil executive and always a little wild, hit a pole in “75 and car was parked at his moms house in Alabama, not driven since. Frame will pull and has at outside but such an original car pretty pumped. When looking the firewall was ‘scratched’ I thought because the hood was loose. That was wrong, the firewall says L-A 2. Two tone paint assembly line marking. How cool. Anyway, documented the trans date off of the forums and is correct, big script Pontiac assembly YS. Never been able to trace good history on a car!
