3.73 or 3.42 gear
I just installed a overdrive trans with lock up converter. What would be a good gear for a nice cruiser? Right now I have a 3.73 and don't know if it would be worth changing to a 3.42. I am running a 28" tall tire and with the 3.73 it rpms 1600 at 55mph. Haven't had it to 70 yet but the math says it should rpm at a little over 2100 where a 3.42 gear would put it at 2000.
