Default Back up lights

I have a 64 GTO that came with back up lights in the rear bumper. I bought a rechromed bumper a few years ago that did not have the holes for back up lights. My original bumper is a little rough but could be straightened out if I have to. My question is this, did the dealer cut holes in the rear bumper with a hole saw to install back up lights if customer wanted them as a dealer installed accessory? At the factory when they were installed on the line were there two different bumpers? One with back up lights and one without? Thanks for the help!
