has anyone put a Monte Carlo or caprice steering box in?

so looking into this, I "hear" that the more modern steering boxes will work. I am hoping to find someone to chime in on this with some experience.

Maybe you have a Catalina or a like model where you dropped in a more modern steering box.

This would definitely help me out as I need to either rebuild mine, or replace.
