P-Jack, I believe ALL of the NASH 4-bbl intakes were magnesium, and possibly all of the Dual Quad Nash Intakes. Do not believe Doug had any of the NASH intakes cast up in Aluminum but the Hunt Brothers did (as did the SK Engineering) people. Have been told that the SK people actually did all of the casting/machining work and the Hunt Brothers just marketed the intakes. That being said, magnesium is very light, prone to bad fires if ever in a vehicle on fire, and weaker vs 7075 T-6 aluminum. Light Weight seems to be its strong point.

I would not want a IA-2 magnesium block.
