Default New Bests In Great Air

Went to Thompson today and even though there was a steady headwind between 10-20 MPH DA was between 500-800 ft. which is pretty much unheard of around here. 1st run spun hard on the cold track and had a 1.71 60' 11.45 118.65.
2 passes later I loosened the air valve spring on the Q-Jet from 3/8 to 1/4 turn tight and ran a best ever 1.58 11.3097 118.21 with some wheelspin.

It really liked the looser setting and launched harder on the next 3 passes spinning the tires with
1.59 11.34 117.9
1.61 11.36 118.21
1.63 11.40 117.73-spun hard

Best ever 60' before was 1.63 dead hooking. Just loosening that spring 1/8 turn made a huge difference in the way the car felt coming off the line,it was hitting the tires much harder. I really wanted a 11.20 something but the track started to go away and the air worsened with storms moving in. I'm done for the year but it was a good way to go out.
