Few tidbits:
-Air cleaner is correct for 4bbl non 428 (370 and 390 hp 428's used a single snorkel chrome lid assembly like a 69 Firebird 400 or a 68 GTO)
-While other 69 Pontiacs had the option of a rear defogger (blower) GP's had only the rear defroster (grid) as an option. You could not order a defogger from the factory on a 69 GP and you couldn't order a grid defroster on any 69 except a GP
-Like the 69 GTO, 69 GP's came with standard manual drum brakes and Power disc were optional. Manual disc was no longer optional on any 69 Pontiacs and power drums while optional on some other Pontiac's in 69 they were not optional on GP's
-manual shift GP's came standard with walnut shift knobs and 4spd models used a knob unique to the GP (different looking bezel similar to later Firebird knobs), I am not sure if the 3spd manual GP used the regular woodknob used on A and F bodies (with a large pontiac arrowhead and no shift pattern in the bezel) or had a unique GP version like the 4 speed.
Anybody know for sure? this is the first 3pd GP I ever saw, I'll try to look it up in my 1970 MPC.
