Default Dash repair

I picked up a nice dash were the vinyl is good, no cracks. The problem is whoever took it out of the car cracked the plast shell in some areas, probably by prying when all the bolts and/ or screws were not out.

I hate to throw this away, can the plastic be repaired, either by glueing, or do I need heat to melt it back together? Not sure what type of plastic core shell is made of. Its too bad since the vinyl looks real good.

Any ideas on the plastic? Thanks
