I swapped rears in my 72 Lemans a couple years ago... can't remember exactly how we done it... I think it took 2 people... one workin the jack and the other keeping it stable. once we got it high enough (car was just sittin on jack stands) we connected the suspension.

Wasn't to awful difficult, but we used ALL brand new suspension components...

Anyway, good luck. Can't wait til you find out bout the Vibration issues!
