Lloyd,
I've got three T-41 convertibles. I've got an orange 72 convertible with white/black interior. It was a fairly well optioned 350-2V car, but I installed a 455/TH400 in it. I've owned it since 1986, but it's been in storage since 1990. The body on that car is excellent. I didn't exactly get a steal on the blue 350 car. I've got about $7K in it, and I purchased it about four years ago. If you've priced NOS convertible quarter panels, you know how expensive they are, so I opted to buy a complete car. The body on it is excellent as well. The only rust I can find on the entire car is a few bubbles on one corner of the trunk lid. It is as solid and rust-free as it appears. The 455HO car had front end sheet metal damage, and rust in the rear quarters. It is a major project. Mike |
