I don't know what a "modified epoxy" is. Generally, there are one and two component epoxies whether you're talking about an adhesive, sealant or coating. One part epoxies usually require elevated temperatures or UV to properly cure. Nevertheless, you will not get nearly the performance of a good 2K (two component) system with an ambient cure single component coating. John
