Default Recommended paint for H.O./Ram Air Manifolds??

I purchased the 67 High Output style manifolds from our host for my 67 goat, and I'd like to put on some sort of coating on them to keep them protected.

I purchased some Engine Enamel that when you spray it on it looks like brand new cast iron. However the paint is rated up to 500 degrees. Now I know the exhaust portion of the car gets pretty hot, but how hot I'm not sure. Is the stuff I bought going to cut it or am I going to have to buy another exhaust paint with a higher temperature rating?? Don't want to put in the effort of putting it on only to find out once I actually get the car going again that the paint is chipping.
