A buddy of mine has a 421 block that is missing a crank. These engines had 4.00" strokes. He is considering having a lot of 10 manufactured, based on the stock ARMA steel crank I have; 4.00" stroke and 3.25" mains, as steel billets. 10 is the minimum number for a special order from this particular crank house.

He says a 421 deserves the right crank. Fine by me, but with only a 4.00" stroke would there be any interest in this group in owning one? I do not know the time frame he is considering but when he says something he usually does it. I can't see him sitting on the extra cranks.

If there is any interest I will try to get a $ figure.

Just out of curiosity, what is the main bearing diameter on the IA block?
