Remote Oil Filter Location
I'm about to put the engine back in my 1977 Trans Am, and I'm considering using a remote filter. For those of you who run a remote 2 quart oil filter AND have the factory AC suitcase in the engine bay, where do you mount the oil filter? Any photos to share?

I don’t have AC, but I don’t think it would matter much I’d just run the hoses under the AC stuff, my dual remote housing is on the passenger side of the rad support.

Here's where I installed the remote oil filter on my '70. I wanted to install it on the subframe in the same general area to have better access for oil changes, but I run an aftermarket subframe and I found there was not enough clearance with the radiator hose. It's definitely out of the way where I have it, but cleaning the filter without making a mess is a challenge.
