It seems high to me but I have it in print here for a 400 car at 3855 for curb weight.

Just weighed my aluminum radiator with dual electric fans
34lbs keep in mind it had more volume than a 4 row so it will weigh more when filled. No weight savings there from a clutch fan and brass radiator. |

Both my frt bars wiegh 17. But i'm use'n and old cheap bathroom scale.
Right now the bar sppt(trimmed 4lbs) w/frm brkts is 21. Still decide'n if i should trim the frame brkts themselves.

Have not weighed birds but weighed some A-bodies on my forklift scale at work (certified to 2lbs accuracy). The weights below are for original cars, no driver and no gas.
Some are surprising: 69 GTO vert: 4spd AC and heavy optioned (windows, 8 track etc) 3,890 69 LeMans vert: 3502bbl, T400 AC, also fully optioned with windows etc 3,885 69 GTO HT: 4spd AC and again fully optioned 3,855 Porky cars! Wonder what a stock Bird 400 weighs? My experience is that a muncie installed is almost 50 pounds lighter than a T400 and a 3spd floorshift (DB13) is about half way between the two (iron case)
