Carb vacuum nipple
When I was troubleshooting my Qjet recently, when I removed the vacuum line for the choke pull off, the hose was very tight and pulled the nipple out of the carb body. I plugged it back in and it feels snug and it operates the pull off. Should I use something like locktight on it or just leave it?

I have had that take place on me and I forget what size I used, but I tapped in a long taper center punch to flare the tube out I bit and then drove it back in the carb with a wood block.
I also think I may have used whatever size drill bit to put a slight chamfer on the carb body to help get that flared out end started.

Well, when you remove the various tubes from the airhorn (inside the quadrajet), it's common practice to put them back in using red loctite. In fact, did that last week. The point being, I don't see how this would be any different. Just make sure to keep it only on the outside of the tube before knocking it back in.

Yep, happens occasionally. Like said, put a little loctite on it, put it back in and forget about it. It'll be fine.

Yep. Whether it's an existing nipple that pulled out, or a modification to add a nipple where there wasn't one before, a dab of threadlocker on the tubing works wonders.
