Need some help with spring loaded fuel pump replacement on a GP
Anybody replace a fuel pump that is spring loaded? I am having a heck of a time with my 99 GTP. I have the new one in the hole, but I can't seem to get it to line up so I can get the clamp ring back in place. Looks like I have to be dead nuts on. Getting really frustrated!! ARG! Anyone have any tips or suggestions? Thanks.

The biggest problem I've seen at work is getting the float arm in the wrong end of the tank. Might not hurt to lube the sealing o-ring.
