'68-69 pic thread
Do we have one of these? I briefly tried searching but didn't come up with much other than wheel/tire combos. I'm mainly looking for paint and color schemes. What would be ideal is a blue or dark blue '68 or '69 however all colors are fine. I'm trying to figure out what my car would exactly look like. I'm not good at Photoshop, I wish I was. I've already checked out most every car on ultimategto.com, however they don't really have many dark blue colors on that site to go with. Bonus would be with an Endura delete as I think I'm going to keep the chrome for a while. Anyway, post it up, thanks.

I was watching Mecum on TV Sunday morning and my GTO drove across the block. Verdoro Green with a black vinyl top. Weird to see.........

I almost want to keep the Verdoro Green on my car, since the interior paint is that color and it looks decent, but I think I'd rather go dark blue on this one. My car had a black vinyl top on it too at one point, now I have to fix the roof.

As far as the greens go, I really like Nightshade-
And since you seem to be starting a '68/'69 picture thread, here's the color of mine...If I ever finish it. Meridian Turquoise with black Cordova.

Greg, that one with the white vinyl roof is one of the most striking GTO's I've ever seen..........

The problem with ultimategto.com is, they usually only post up cars with factory paint jobs or colors otherwise correct for the year. I have yet to see a Nightwatch Blue or Nocturne Blue '68 or '69.

Basically I want to go with something "subtle". I don't really want to attract attention to the car but I want it to still have a decent color, that's why I was thinking dark blue. |

Out of the 4 years IMO 68's are the (if I dare say) Rarest. Don't like the word but it fits. 66's come up now & then but the 67's are the most predominate. Are you keeping her a Cammer? I hope so. Cheers & best of Luck. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/764053

I was thinking of going with Starlight Black but I already have a triple black Bronco I drive daily, might as well have some sort of color to this car. I was thinking white for a while too, still am.

True, but I'd like it to attract less attention than say, an Orbit Orange car would. Around me it seems most of the A-bodies need a bright paint job that stands out. I'd rather not.

'68 HO 4 speed convertible
My first born. Alot of blood, sweat & tears with this one. Found it in Montanna with less than 40K miles it. Had been sitting in a barn with '72 tags (that I still have) until '02. Frame off'd and sold it to Volo at '04 Fall Carlisle.
