I spent the day driving to Advantage Lifts to pick up my new 12,000 Lb. 2 post lift
Just got back from a 400 mile round trip to pickup my new 12,000 Lb. lift. I'm finally going to be able to work on my cars and trucks without lying under them on a creeper. I have no problem getting down to the creeper, but getting back up is the problem.....LOL
Link to new lift: https://www.advantagelifts.com/products/al-f12 I was considering the 10,000 Lb one, but decided i can lift anything I own with the 12,000 Lb. My floor is too thin to support a 12,000 lb lift so I'll be cutting 3X3 foot sections out to pour piers to mount the lift posts too. Then I get to erect the lift and get it functioning. I've been putting this off for decades because it always seemed that something else needed attention before a lift. These were $1500 off of the regular retail price, so I pulled the trigger finally. I have my work cut out for me now with getting the concrete poured setting the lift up, wiring it and I'll finally have access to the bottoms of my cars, and trucks........ |

I’ve had a lift since the early 90s can’t imagine living without it now . Best money I’ve ever spent in my life .

Yep, I haven't crawled under a car or truck to work on it since installing my lift back in 2003. I went with a 13,500lb 4 post lift, extra long and wide so it will take full size SUV's, trucks, etc
Looks like the one you picked is fine for one ton trucks and SUV's......
