Shower curtain
Ok this may sound like a silly question BUT
I just installed a 3 piece fiberglass tub stall/surround.... I dont want glass doors had em before and pain in the ass imho.... Anyway....I want to install a curved shower rod...can I drill into the fiberglass surround and use wall plugs or somethin to secure the mounting plates for the curtain rod???? Any ideas from those who have encountered this I appreciate the help.....Chris

I just redid my bathroom. Using a 6' shower curtain and the same curved rod, mine is too tall to mount into the surround. I mounted it into the drywall above the surround with metal screw in anchors.

put a hanger bracket on the wall adjacent to the enclosure.
tuck shower curtain in on the bottom and it can be outside the enclosure at top. You can use a bracket like a curtain rod hanger.

I also went above my shower stall with my curved rod. The length of your shower curtain is going to partially dictate where the rod goes, I wanted mine inside the basin but not laying on the bottom.

What's behind where you would be drilling? Seeing you have access with the trim off you should be able to mount to though the shower stall to a solid piece. Here are some images.https://www.google.com/search?q=curv...w=1920&bih=862
