Arrow Wanted - A-body 8.5" 3.08 Rear (‘71-‘72 Buick/Olds) local pickup in So Cal Only

Looking for a good used 8.5" 10-bolt rear axle assembly in working condition or even just a bare housing with or without axles. If you have a complete rear I would prefer one with 3.08 gears, may consider one with a 2.73 gear set, open differential or posi is fine either way.

Must be from a '71-'72 Buick or Olds A-body with bolt-in axles (no C-clips) equipped with A9 tapered axle bearings.

Must be located in or near the So Cal/Los Angeles/San Diego area so I can pick it up, I'm not interested in paying to ship one of these.

If you have one of these and happen to be heading to So Cal for any reason I can meet you somewhere in So Cal that’s convenient for you and pick it up.

Please send me a PM if you have one for sale, thanks.

Don't have one and live in Missouri. But can tell you they are very tough! I have 3.23's. I put a heavy duty spring and new clutch plates in it. I would only spin one slick occasionally with the factory spring.

Perhaps a PY member or one of their contacts may have one of these somewhere in So Cal.

Would also be interested in a complete 1964 or 1965 8.2 10-bolt open rear with 3.08 gears. Something that I’m able to bolt in and use, missing axles and brakes okay
