'65 tail light bezels
Does the rear bumper need to be removed to install new tail light bezels on a '65 GTO ?

It seems that you do need to take the bunper down and remove the extensions to remove the bexels. They seem to be screwed in to the rear of the extensions which do need to come off to get to the bezel mounting screws....or is it just me?

Done deal. I did have to take out two of the bumper bolts and drop the bumper down to get the extensions out, but not bad after that. No biggie, but the bunper definately has to get out of the way and the extensions do need to come off of the car to replace the bezels...

After inspecting the rear 1/4 extentions more thoroughly, I agree that it is a must they come off to remove/install the bezels properly...

Thanks, about to do this myself very soon. Which two bolts of the bumber did you remove and how did it pivot out of the way ? Sounds easier than dropping entire bumper.
Any advice on how to remove the extensions ? Never removed them before.
