Ohhh Bill! You know I could tell you, but then I would have to send Rico the Penguin out on a "job".
Actually, I didn't take the picture. Someone up north sent it to me from a yard somewhere up there.

Is that the one on craigslist now?
Gold with black stripe would look great. There also is a September 09th Hemmings muscle machine issue that has a feature article on a guy that did a frame off restro 70 1/2 GT-37. Lot's of pictures & info. I'm from MI. It's yours if you want it. |

Did you get that car from a guy up near Green Bay? I looked at one similar to that, and he said he had a guy from MI that was interested in.

We need to keep the Milwaukee sharkboys at bay and protect what little we have. Actually, all of the good stuff is hiding around Milwaukee already anyway. This one is up north and the original HO motor and M22 are long gone.

Ok Jim, I am just yankin' your chain. Its not an HO car............really!!!!
Mike, I have a bunch of pictures of that same car you posted. The silver one I posted a picture of is really in a yard up north from here. I have not seen it personally and this is the only picture I have. Looked like it might have been a neat car, silver with a blue stripe. I am guessing it was a 350 car based on what you can see of the emblem on the lower part of the fender.

My project GT-37 AKA: "the rat car" It served as home for five of them. It took me about ten days to get them all out of the basement. It will need floor and trunk pans, I already have another core support and fenders and a slightly better hood. I found a set of 14" Honeycomb wheels to go on it also. All the parts are there and it does run, only 54K miles, last tag was Alabama 1983. Lucerne blue with late stripe, Auto with A/C.
I look at the one on the Ultimate GTO website for inspiration every once and a while and think it sure would be nice. |

someone else also mentioned thinking 70 GT-37 were only built in Pontiac. That is incorrect. They were built at a lot of different plants. Mine was built in Freemont. The cardinal red 70 that someone posted that was at POCI was also the car in Hemmings. It is owned by Steve Bothwell. It's also a Freemont car
