What king of ignition is that?

They might have a shiny "danger" decal on 'em, but
they look like replacement coil packs. Buick 3.8 |

Electromotive Engine controls. USA made, one year warranty. That's all I know about them. Looks like stock late model GM coils.
After reading about that GTO all I could think of was what a shame they did a color change from Bronze/Fawn (beautiful), to white/black (generic). But color choice is 100% subjective. All those modifications may be very appealing to some buyers and to me it looks like pretty good quality work overall. Of course we would all do certain things differently if we owned it. But overall, as a "Hot Rod", it looked pretty good to me. Hydroboost, Wenzler heads, fairly clean plumbing and wiring. We know the car would probably bring more $$ stock than all the expensive modifications on it. I liked the driving video. At least he isn't afraid to accelerate a little and actually drive it. So many of these videos have the driver putting around like the car is some kind of precious porcelain doll. |

Jeez, a lot going on there.
Hope it doesn't vibrate much, that passenger side upper control arm rear bolt looks like it's almost touching the header pipe.

Looks like a crank-triggered ignition similar to a Northstar.

The ad said 16" Ralley II wheels from Year One. I didn't think anyone sold 16" Rally II's. I looked at the pics in the ad. and sure enough it has 16" Ralley II wheels. Are these still available? I don't see them on the Year One site.

10 or so years ago Stockton Wheel was selling 16" steel Rally IIs, but I believe they have been out of business for a while.

Man, that oval exhaust setup with the side exits is sweet! I love the Spintech mufflers, they sound mean as hell.

That thing sounds like a beast! Agree on the color swap. I'd kind of like to see that powerplant in the subdued bronze/fawn combo.
You don't see Wenzler heads that often. Were they considered an all out race head or could they be considered a pre-cursor to the round port Edelbrocks?
