Rare Michigan Dealership License Plate Frames - Stan Long, Belcastro, Noonan
I came across these three original frames in a parts deal - both from Michigan dealers and basically impossible to find as most were either thrown away or rusted away.
The first is from Stan Long Pontiac in Detroit, a well known performance dealer that sold the famous Super Duty 421 Tempest that was famously sold on Ebay a few years ago. This dealer also sold the Jim Wangers Blackbird RA Firebird. Items from this dealership are nearly impossible to find and I have never seen another license plate frame like this, let alone NOS. Asking $275 plus shipping. The second is from Belcastro Pontiac in Ferndale, MI; this one is also NOS, but has some shelf wear as you can see in the pics. Again, this is 1960s-early 70s vintage. Asking $80 plus shipping. Third is from Noonan Pontiac in Sterling Heights, MI - used but in nice condition, asking $75 for this one. No pics but I am happy to take a few if needed. Pics below: |

Is this still available?
Hello, my name is Evan Long I’m 15 years old and have been working with my dad restoring a 1967 gto that he’s had for a long while. Coincidentally my dads name is Stan Long, he’s got a shirt and everything about that dealership and it’s race car. He’s been looking his whole life for some kind of memorabilia from the dealership that he could put on the car. This is the only thing I’ve been able to find on the internet from that dealership that’s for sale. I was just curious if it’s still available and if the price could come down any. Thanks in advance!

More info
My father has always been in to classic cars and owns a auto body shop that I currently work at. When I was born he gave me a 70 Camaro, but money got tight and he sold it. When I was about 2 years old he gave me this 67 gto to replace it. My whole childhood I’ve spent in this car and the past 2 years he’s been teaching me on how to restore cars like this. This has been such an amazing learning experience not to mention a great bonding experience with my father and something like this would just put a cherry on top of it all.
Here’s some photos of it |

And for the record, if someone comes across another Belcastro frame, I’d be interested.
