Default Coker Radial Wide Oval Tires

Anyone purchased these yet? I know Mike was inquiring earlier this year, but didn't learn anything from that post. Thank you!

I will tell you two thing...

I didn't get a set for my TA as I needed the F 60 Polys.

But, I did finally take a long ride with T/A radials yesterday with the 71 Judge, and I felt those to be a big upgrade over my bias ride.

So, bring on good looking radials for us drivers!

Picked up some Firestone Wide Oval Radials with raised white letters from Coker. They are NEW additions to their line. The "F" size was in-stock, but the "G".s I had to wait almost 3 months to get. Coker was great to work with. They gave me several options with offers to help, since I had mounted the "F"'s on the front and old Goodyears on the rear. They went above and beyond, but I decided to wait for the "G" s.

I have pics of the tires on my '68 GTO. I'll try to post them, but not sure how that will work with this Quick Reply. Here goes ... Very happy with the tires and Coker.

Was thinking about getting a set of G70-14 radial for my 70 GTO to replace the 235/70-14 BFG that are on it now that have been on there since 1989. I guess theyd be the same width as the my BFGs?

G70-14 would be more like a 225/70/14 in a T/A roughly 26" tall

On the Coker site I think the new G70 14 radial was like 27" tall,,,,thats why back in the day I used 235 70 14 bfg because they were the same height as the original G70. You cant get a 235 70 in bfg anymore,,,only the 225 which to me looks too short, I was just hoping the tread width of the new G70 would be at least as wide as my current 235 70 BFGs. I think they list the width of the new G70 at 6.9". Cant find what the factory rated width of a bfg 235-70.
