Default Darksiders Clock

I am working on a project for myself and thought some of you may be interested. I ran this by Engine-Ear (Matt) to get his take on the design and he thought there may be some interest as well. This is not the finished product as the neon color did not turn out like I wanted it to so I think I will switch to blue. I have another of the same clock in my garage that I have had for over a year and has been working great. They are not an expensive clock so in total I would sell them for $37 + shipping.

At this time I am gauging interest and will update with more photos once I complete the design. Please email me at hansenb44@hotmail.com vs IM

The clock face is about 11 3/4" and a total diameter of about 15"

Very nice. Blue neon would be better, in my opinion. Put me down for one.

Well we are getting closer to making this a go. I have to confirm with the manufacturer what the min order would be, shipping cost and a few other things. I have a few designs and Engine-Ear is working on one also. I may post a poll to get everyones take on the design soon.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!!

Nice looking clock face. I think the blue neon is the way to go, too.

In my mostly self-trained semi-professional graphic arts industry opinion, I'd take some space out between the "D" and "arksiderrs", and take another look at the centering of the car names between the circle doohickies.

Also... In my on-again off-again quest to create Pontiac logoed stuff for sale, how did you get the OK to use the Indian Head logo?

Thanks!
Chris

I'm far from professional to graphics but I can agree with you on this.
Wouldn't it look better if the "DARKSIDERS" were a bit smaller too?
It needs som space not to interfere with the surrounding 8-lug rim.
I also think the Pontiac head logo is too big.

And now I might upset the Grand Ville owners, but I'd rather see "2+2" instead of
The Grand Ville name. Why? All the other models could be equipped with 8-lugs

Seems that consensus is that the DarkSider "era" (for lack of a better term) spans from '59 until '76.

...my $0.02

My 2 cents...the offset Chief Pontiac logo looks a bit odd...doesn't really match the classic Pontiac signs we've all seen. Move it down and center it enough to allow the clock hands mechanism to emerge directly underneath his feathers. Reduce the Darksider type somewhat to fit in below it. Bold, enlarge, or even change the font of the individual model names to a more "automotive looking" font, if there is such a thing...and move Grand Prix to where Ventura is! lol
