Default Seat belt guide scat seats

Hey guys, can anyone suggest a place selling a headrest seat guide, or any other type of guide for the seatbelt? I put procar rally seats in the car, but the seatbelt runs on your neck when no guide is used. This is a 79 Transam, wondering if anyone else has come up with a solution for this.

On my Recaros I pulled the head rest up and just ran the shoulder between the head rest posts.

I put an Allstar Performance set of 3 pt retractor belts in my 67. I am totally happy with the install, except I have the same problem. The guide loop is mounted to the roof where the factory clip-on shoulder belts would attach. The shoulder strap starts up too high.

I am going to get a 6-9" extension to attach between the roof mount point and the guide loop. That should be enough to lower the shoulder strap so it keeps off the neck.

Here's a link to something that is similar to what I will get.
http://wescoperformance.stores.yahoo...tm_content=pla

I will mount the extension to the roof, and mount the shoulder guide to the end of the extension. The piece in the link is 12", which may or may not be more than I need. I haven't ordered anything yet.

Just an idea. It's what I plan to do.

Thanks guys. Glad to know I am no alone. I was surprised procar said hey have no solution, and know of no solution. I will try to find or build something that goes on the headrest, let you know how it works. Skip Fix, does that work well for you? Seems like that would be odd on mine.

I think someone could easily make a set or have a good upholster do it.

Hey guys, you guys inspired me. Can't believe scat doesnt sell these, but I took strips of a leather belt, cut them to about 10" inch strips, and drilled out holes for the headrest posts. Then looped it through. It will do for now.
