Cool commercial.
Like this one from Chevy too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iHTi7PBJLnk Guess it's ok to post chevy spots as it's been years since Pontiac had one! Wonder what the last Pontiac commercial was?

Great commercial for this day and age! A real nice car to boot, 66 Imapala SS396 4spd convertible. Usually GM Christmas commercials suck, like showing a rich husband and wife buying each other brand new vehicles for Christmas, like that is going to motivate the average household.

That's a keeper...
I totally understand the feelings of a son/daughter restoring a vehicle for their parent. On Father's Day, 1997 I surprised my dad with the finished restoration of his 1949 Cadillac factory limousine he purchased in 1958 when I was 4. This was the family car I grew up with until dad had to park it in 1965 because of repairs needed that he couldn't afford. The first photo below is circa 1960 and I'm the young boy on the right. My younger brother is to my left and between us is my older sister - we were picking apples my dad's parents home The second photo is my dad the last time he saw the car in 2001. |

My family had a 65 SS 327 powerglide Impala loved that boat. Some cars are definitely time machines

I briefly saw this commercial when watching Sunday night football with the Bears and Packers.
I made a post about it on The Supercar Registry (Yenko site) and everyone over there loved it. It’s really a neat commercial with some emotion mixed in. Unfortunately I can relate to the Gentleman in this ad. Cheers to Chevrolet 🍺

Good stuff! I would of loved to do something like that for my Pops but He lost his sight and now he doesn’t even know who I am. He wasn’t isnt the sentimental type except for his guns of all things which I will keep forever and pass on to my sons. Mom died when i was just a teen so I never got to spoil her either. Ugh. Now my I’m crying too.

Me? I've never cried in my whole life. I'm told that when I was born, they slapped my a$$ and I slapped them back. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it... LOL.

There is a 4 minute version of this commercial that has a little more to it.

Back before I got really into Pontiac's I had in the 70's two 396 66 Caprice's and later a 4dr 283 66 Caprice. I bought that one back twice. It was an awesome car but Massachusetts road salt eventually claimed it.
