Quench and Flame Travel Issue With +.010 Deck Height?

Is there an issue with FLAME TRAVEL on the Quench part of the head when you are +.010 deck height? Thanks Again, CraigG. |

Depends on head gasket, chamber type, compression, piston design. Even plug type. A lot of factors if talking race engine in this the race section.

Quenching is usually more of an issue if the piston is to deep in the hole, usually .100"

I doubt it. I run a domed piston that sticks up more than .010 over the deck, not a problem.
