I'll stay tuned to this as well. The cam you mentioned is the one I chose for my iron headed 455 build which is soon to be on the dyno.

I used it in a 467 stroker w/ #62 heads, RPM intake, Demon carb. Made 540hp/587 ft. lbs of torque. In my 69 Grand Prix that weighs 4050 lbs. it went 12.28 through the exhaust. I feel there was high 11's in it with more tuning, but didn't really get the chance to get it there. Sounded really good. Nice, choppy idle.
What's the rest of your combo?

It runs solid in a 455.
With aluminum heads around 300 CFM and good intake most cars will be mid to high 11 second 1/4 mile. I found a video of the idle https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zLXp5U58FTM |

Thanks guys. 455SD, 30 over, auto, 9.5:1, well flowing SD iron heads, H beams, SRP pistons, factory matched intake, QF carb, factory logs. I went with the 288hr. We'll see how it goes.
