Default Help ID Muncie M21

I have a 1970 (P0R29B) M21 Muncie 4-speed transmission. The main case number is 3925661 and it does not have a VIN stamp but has what looks like TO followed by 38837 near the date stamp (the 38837 is in very small/fine characters). There is a steel tag on the driver's side that reads 545767. I was told it was bought at a Pontiac dealer parts counter in 1970. I cannot find anything on the tag number and I don't know how "replacement" transmissions were marked.

Any help?
