Will a AM/FM radio from a 70 Grand Prix fit in the stock 70 GTO opening? And what if any are the differences?

Should fit just fine with the only difference being the GP radio has chrome push buttons where the GTO has black push buttons. I used a ' 72 AM/FM from a GP in my "71 GTO and it fit just fine but the rear mount stud was not there on the GP radio. May also be the case with the '70 GP radio.
