Default Mega brace by SD performance

Is this something that you can buy used and would it be worth it? Or just buy a new set. Thanks Bill

Pretty sure it is best to custom fit(grind) to a specific block's valley.

You always grind them some if you are smart.

Bill - can't say that I've seen any braces for sale used but I'd pick one up if I came across it. New or used it may still reqire some fitting.

From Dave's website: "no grinding required to clear any bolts." That's different than grinding the lifter bore cups on the brace to fit properly. I also had to fill in recesses in the fitted area with JB weld. It might take a pretty big hammer to get them out, and they probably wouldn't be in that great of shape to sell at this point.

No problem. I knew he was first. I would have been interested in the second set.

I don't believe there was a second set. I suspect the count reflected the number of pieces (not including hardware/retainers). It's two pieces, unless you want to do the entire valley - it's "four" then. HTH.
