1971 GTO Convert on e-bay
Anyone know the story behind this auction? E-Bay number http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ponti...30355216QQrdZ1
It looks as if the seller has cancelled numerous bids - most well over his buy it now price of $8,700 (which is very low, given the heritage of the car). |

Another scammer,
The same car was on ebay just about a week ago!! Auction ended april 3rd!! I was watching it; a total of 43 bids with the highest bid $ 34.600,- (no reserve auction) location south Carolina. I bet the real seller and buyer of this car will be very happy to see it with a buy it now of $ 8.750,-!!!!!

A SCAM IT IS! I wrote this guy an e-mail with some innocuous questions. I got back the typical "overseas" response!
"I'm glad you are interested in the car.My name is Daniel Jensen,first I want you to know that for the moment I'm in England for a special reason, my cousin just died in a tragic accident and my real duty is to help his wife sell all he owned here,including this car.He worked in the States for two years and he had the opportunity to buy the car there.It's a great car,in perfect condition,it has no scratches, no damages,no hidden defects.Kept it in a warm garage.The price I want for the vehicle is $8,700." Just to mess with him, I asked for the address (in London) where the car is stored. I said I would like to have my brother who is an agent with Interpol (and a car nut) stop by and check it out. He could pay him (the buy it now price) on the spot. |
