Default 1976 Trans Am Core Support

I was at Norwalk and asked about a core support for my 76. Was told one was in process.

Any word on this?

Question What's different...

between late Camaros ['70-'77] and Firebirds of the same era? I have one for a later Camaro...just curious.

As I recall, the camaro rad supports are TOTALLY different than 70-81 Firebird ones.

The whole front Camaro clip (sheet metal),cowl top, doors quarters & tail panel are also noticeable different)

Roof, trunk lid & glass WILL interchange.

ALL 70-81 V8 Firebird rad supports WILL interchange & but there is at least a half dozen different styles,so one rad support won't really cut it for a "correctly" restored car.

ericc@performanceyears.com is going to take a picture and post here. If you have a car ready to test the support, please pm so we can discuss. We would really like to get some first hand comments on this support before we start shipping a bunch.

ok, there was only a limited amount brought in from this first production. I understand that the importer is already out of them. We have a handful of each. If you definitely want 1 for Norwalk, you should call and get one ordered. 800-542-7278
