Default Fastest Classic GM Muscle Cars, Ranked

I just saw this article and thought, "Here we go, another biased opinion paper with nothing but bow ties!" I was pleasantly surprised. I only glanced through it, so those here with more knowledge can sort out the hype. https://www.msn.com/en-us/autos/othe...708d757a&ei=14

burd, you make a good point, sir. This article should be titled Quickest Classic GM... I have this discussion many times as most a lot of cars can go fast, but not all are quick! Kinda, maybe, sorta like HP vs Torque.

Wouldn't trust any of these latest "fastest" lists.
Many are being generated by computer software, not actual road tests reported back in the day with unaltered original musclecars.

telltales...
"Fastest ever" (instead of quickest),
-the term "Classic" in describing Original Muscle Era performance cars,
- & of course clickbait "authors" of the articles have foreign names.

Probably the Fastest (not the quickest) of the cars in the muscle era wasn't a GM or even the Big 3. It was the Studebaker Avanti.

I'll take a stab at it.

Fastest - GT40

Quickest - Dodge Dart (Hemi)
