speedmaster roller rockers
i got a deal on some edelbrock heads that came with some 1.52 roller rockers by speedmaster. theyre similar to ls rockers thats had the trunion upgraded to a bushing. anyone run these? they look nicely built but that dont mean nothing

Anything sold by "Speedmaster" is supremely questionable in terms of quality. Anything they sell that could cause catastrophic failure should not be used.
Consider giving them a military-style "Flotation test". |

If your able to find out what spring pressure there rated for I would back that down by 20% to use them safely.

Only a couple of aluminum brands are worth running. I use the clunky gold ones that have a good reputation but they cost a few more bucks.
The bitterness of high prices wear off much quicker than poor quality does. |

i think the guy i got the heads from was using them on a hft cam so probably not alot of spring pressure. i do like the bushed fulcrum vs needle bearings so i wish i could find the name brand version theyre cloning.
i snagged a set of crower aluminum 1.7s off here a few weeks back i plan to run but i need to see what spring pressures theyre good for also
