Was on the market a few years ago. I think the seller was asking mid 20's at the time. I pondered it... but have too many cars and am not a fan of the color combo.

the tan interior is cool, but the steering wheel really throws me off... it just doesn't look right (forgetting what I know to be correct or not).

Quite likely one of few '70 Muncie three speed Formula 400's left.


1991 Grand Am: 14.4 @ 93.7mph (DA corrected) (retired DD, stock appearing)
2009 Cobalt SS: 13.9 @ 103mph (current DD; makes something north of 300hp & 350ft/lbs)

Good to know its still out there.
I don't think an inside and outside color change would hurt its value any at all.

Color coordinated steering wheel is a 79-81 thing.

In my book, if this Formula could be bought for less, changing the interior over to Deluxe Black would present a pleasing result combined with the Silver exterior.

While propperly changing the interior over to a different color is not a cheap expenditure, it's not something I'd be afraid of pursuing on this HO Formula as just cant see this one getting taken to a very high show level. An occasional driver, or even a Pure Stock race build would be it.

not a big fan of that interior, but could that only one in that color combo? The body looks pretty good.+++
