T/A Fenders needed...whats with the repops?
I need Fenders for a 75 T/A. Tired of people on Facebook not responding and ready to buy reproduction Fenders. I've read the horror stories about the reproductions being no good and needing to be reworked, cut, bent etc. Anybody out there know exactly what the heck is wrong with the repops?? Thanks in advance.

I purchased a set of reproduction fenders for one of my '76 cars. I won't go into details about the one year lip on the front edge. The work that had to be completed were as follows.
- Weld fill fender to achieve best door/fender gap - open up fender vent mounting holes to align vent properly. - Weld fill fender vent surrounding area to achieve symmetrical gaps around vents. - Open up fender holes at cowl fastening locations. Hope this helps. |
