Default Fuel tank wiring

Gosh I am now after about 12 years putting my 67 GTO together. And I orderd a wiring harness for the tail lights. This harness has a pig tail for the sending unit yet I don't see where it goes thru the floor? Would it be under the package tray?

thanks in advance for any help.

It goes through a hole in the floorboard underneath the rear seat.
